1. Who we are

IPLens is an IP software discovery platform operated from Singapore. We help enterprise IP teams evaluate and procure IP software through a decision-led assessment process.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

• Account information: email address and password (for registered users)
• Contact request details: name, work email, company, job title, and message (when you contact a vendor)
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interaction events
• Assessment data: your responses to the needs assessment wizard

3. How we use your information

• To operate the platform and provide the IP software comparison service
• To forward your contact requests to relevant vendors (with your explicit consent)
• To improve our matching algorithms and recommendation quality
• To send transactional emails related to your account or requests

4. Sharing your information

We share your personal information with vendors only when you explicitly consent to a contact request. The consent text is presented at the time of submission and records your name, work email, company, and stated business need.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with vendors for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use Cookiebot to manage cookie consent. You can review and update your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings banner.

We use functional cookies required for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are only set with your consent.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Contact request data is retained for 24 months to support vendor relationship management. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object.

8. AI and automated decision-making

IPLens uses AI to generate product shortlists, comparison summaries, and RFP content. AI recommendations are generated by Anthropic Claude. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about individuals.

9. Security

Data is stored in Supabase (AWS ap-southeast-2 region). All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Access controls enforce least-privilege principles for all staff.

10. Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users of material changes to this policy by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
